We are an independently-owned, community book and record store with spaces for reading, studying, and holding meetings.
We started as a small booth selling used books and records in an antique mall. We were in booth number 9; that’s how we got our name. The booth did so well that in April of 2018 we expanded into an open and airy space of our own. Our new store is conveniently located downtown within walking distance of Louisiana Tech University.
In addition to used books in most genres, we have new books by local authors, antiquarian books, and children’s books. We have classic books in literature, fiction, philosophy, science, math, history, poetry, biography, science fiction, fantasy, and more.
We have a wide assortment of classic rock and pop, jazz, soul, classical, and folk albums. We get new records in every week. All records are visually inspected and have a money-back guarantee. We can also play your record in the store so you can listen before you buy.
Don't have a record player? We carry turntables, too. We have older, used turntables and new models. All turntables are tested before they are sold.
Have some books or records you are ready to let go
of? We buy used books and records and give
them a new life in our store.
We have a wide assortment of interesting stories and music, and we are open late so you can drop by after work or dinner. Come by and let us help you find something wonderful.
